Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Cantine Gulfi, € 25,00, 13.5 degrees. Red wine from deep Sicily, produced with the ”frappato” grape, 40% and Calabrian, 60%. After a few months in cask it loses its fruity aroma and takes on that of a wine aged for years. Cherry red color, dry and harmonious flavor, it pairs very well with meat dishes and, if desired, also with feathered game.
